A new line of outdoor ready control cabinet air conditioners from McLean Thermal is now available as a standard product offering.
This rugged family of products has been developed to provide the telecommunications and outdoor process control industry with the highest reliability under any environmental condition. These units from McLean Thermal were designed to mount on outdoor cabinets, shelters or equipment buildings.
The new "T-Series" range of cabinet air conditioners offers 5 basic configurations, providing cooling capacity from 230 Watts up to 5,600 Watts.
The units offer the following standard features:
- Corrosion resistant condenser coil for added ruggedness in outdoor industrial environments.
- Head pressure control to allow continued cooling duty at low ambient conditions without the risk of coil freeze-up. This feature is particularly suited for high heat density applications such as variable speed drives, data processing and telecommunications.
- Heater package to allow elevation of enclosure temperature during colder, low heat-load periods.
- Malfunction switch to provide voltage-free signal output of system problem (high refrigerant pressure caused by condenser fan failure or blockage of condenser coil).
The T-Series units are designed to achieve cabinet seal capable of NEMA 4 and/or wind-driven rain GR-487, and will operate through the range -20ºC to +55ºC.
