It encompasses all the basic functionality of the PAM QA Plus system but has added features to cater for tree and vine crops. Some of our PAM Ultracrop clients have mixed farming enterprises … cattle, hay, grapes, apples and vegetables! …and YES! PAM Ultracrop can handle the production recording needs of such farms.
As well as having all the basic features of our PAM QA Plus system (like keeping track of all machinery and manual tasks, fertiliser and chemical use, inventories of consumables, crop monitoring, crop gross margins and much much more), of course you can add our extra modules on to PAM Ultracrop … like Mapping, Precision Farming Data Mapping and Analysis (“FarmStar”) … and, like with PAM QA Plus, you can collect your data in the field using our PocketPAM suite of handheld software. PocketPAM will run all popular handheld computers in today’s market. Both Palm and Pocket PC handheld devices are supported.
Management group data entry (as well as on a single block and single crop basis) helps streamline the data entry process.
Enterprise solutions are available for the corporate entity requiring a robust, secure and centralised data management system.
Fairport | Farm Management & Software
Fairport develops quality software predominantly for the agricultural and horticultural industries.
We believe the reasons for our success over many years are:
We are owned and operated by people with backgrounds in farming. We are always prepared to listen to our clients - we know that without them we'd be nobody. We have never been complacent - we have always strived for ways to better our products and services.
We started our journey in 1988 in Western Australian - Australia's (and one of the world's) harshest and most demanding farming environments. Some have said that if we'd started out anywhere else, the software would not be as good as it is ... That is, if you can satifsfy the needs of farmers in Western Australia, the software must be OK.
Fairport works with and alongside industry leaders, governments, agricultural education institutions, national and state research organisations and some of the world's largest and best run agricultural companies. We have formed software commercialization partnerships with research organizations and have been selected to form partnerships with world leading agricultural machinery companies, chemical manufacturers, produce acquirers in various projects over many years.
We are proud to be supporters and sponsors of Nuffield Farming Scholarships - giving a bit back to the industry that has stood by us over many years.
PAM was first released in March 1989 and has become the "Standard" for agricultural recording in Australia. Now the Fairport suite of software products are are used across many countries around the globe.
