Capital Safety, the global leader in fall protection has announced the launch of their new PROTECTA® Rebel™ Personal Self Retracting Lifeline (SRL) range, an update of their trusted economical and versatile Rebel Compact range.
The latest update to the Rebel compact SRL line up involves a refreshed and updated look, along with product enhancements to increase value for users. Models within the Rebel Personal range are available from 1.8 to 6 metres and include a 4.5 metre 'Hot Work' model. With Rebel Personal SRLs you get an economical fall protection solution in a compact unit that minimises your fall clearance requirements when working at height. The Rebel Personal SRL automatically locks at the onset of a fall to arrest the fall, but pays out and retracts lifeline during normal movement by the attached user.
Rebel Personal SRL are ergonomically designed for ease-of-use and are ideal for direct connection to most harnesses. Their compact and lightweight design is barely noticeable on your back and stays out of the worker's way. These SRLs feature a 140 kg user capacity and a robust design to ensure longevity.
"The new 1.8 metre model is the perfect lanyard replacement and the perfect way to upgrade," said Rick Millar, Technical Manager for Capital Safety, Australia and New Zealand.
"Employers can now economically replace simple lanyards with the versatility and added safety of a 1.8 metre Self Retracting Lifeline."
The Personal SRL range continues the Rebel brand's long history of product performance and value that don’t compromise on safety and continues to set performance standards beyond compliance, while providing substantial value.
