How to Use Connected to the shuttle by an interconnecting part such as a lanyard provided with an energy absorber or a fall arrest system, the user can move safely, along the system without needing to unhook.
Quality Control On each batch of components breakage tests and checks conforming to the requirements of the procedures validated by ISO 9001 certification. The set of fixed components forming part of the ARIANA system, such as: cable, intermediate recovery part, pretension system, energy absorber, clevis, anchorage plate and turn element are all of 316 stainless steel.
Horizontal, retrlinear and/or curved use, slope to 15°, all configurations possible, suitable for assembly on any type of support.
Number of Users: 5 persons
Intermediate Recovery: Maximum distance 15m
Breaking Strength: >37kN
The ARIANA system is in conformity with the EN795 Class C standard concerning anchorage devices. The notified APAVE organization has issued the conformity certificate number 9765559.
CAUTION: A cable slope not exceeding 15° is standard. To limit the risk of an accident due to pendulum effect, it is advisable to place the shuttle vertically above the working area.
The installation can be carried out to allow movement over the entire working zone. Various types of installations are possible; wall, ceiling, roof ridge, framework etc.
Various intermediate recovery parts and end plates can be supplied, each tailored to a type of assembly (metallic or concrete structure). A material strength investigation will be required, carried out by a competent design office in order to determine the attaching mode for the end plates and intermediate anchorages.
To establish their definition, it is important to supply all possible technical information concerning the receiving structure, including drawings of the installation site.
PBI Height Safety commenced in the late 1990’s specialising in a range of height safety equipment including, full body harnesses, lanyards and associated PPE equipment. In 2001, PBI extended into a wider area of height safety equipment which involved the supply, installation and certification of permanent Horizontal and Vertical safety life line systems and anchor points.
With PBI’s extensive range of products we can guarantee a permanent life line system that meets your budget, design needs and architectural requirements. Along with this we can provide the correct PPE equipment that correlates with the application for a complete ‘Total Height Access Solution’.
Our Ariana and Evolution life line systems are fully traversal which enables the user to move freely along its length without disconnecting.
Our unique energy absorption post’s on both ARIANA and EVOLUTION permit us to install our life line systems on a vast variety of structures, for example, timber roof joists, steel purlins, poly panels, roof sheeting... This diversity allows PBI to solve many problems and issues that architects, consultants and structural engineers formerly faced!
PBI are a ‘supply design and build’ fall protection provider. We are continually contacted and requested at design stage by architects and consultants to design and engineer a system as an integral part of the building structure. Whether it’s a new building at concept stage or an existing building (retrofit), PBI can design and install a system pertinent to all your stipulations.
