This leak detector model is suitable for both simple and complex test sequences, with dual and automatic pressure regulation options. The tests can be any combination of leak tests, blockage tests, ramp tests or dump tests. Leak sensitivity is down to 0.1 Pa or 0.01ml/min.
This leak detector’s flexibility has been improved with the development of programmable inputs and outputs, maintenance early warning systems (MEWS) with email alert and the inclusion of programmable pneumatic outputs. Programmable I/O can negate the requirement for PLC controls, reducing test station costs and complexity. With various logic functions and timers, the FCO750 offers a great platform for cost effective test station requirements.
For enhanced communications, this leak detector model is equipped with an Ethernet adapter, as well as a front panel mounted USB connector along with the standard RS232 and RS485 communications.
The high resolution display allows different display types to be viewed, ranging from text only to graphical representations of test cycles, trace history or instrument status. The leak detector has the capacity to store over 10 000 historic test results and offers a flexible and convenient way to carry out data collection for SPC type analysis. Also included is the facility to read both 2D and 3D barcodes directly into the FCO750. This means no PCs, PLCs or additional hardware are needed, as was previously the case.
Using the Barcode feature, specific product test parameters can be quickly and easily selected simply by scanning the code directly from a product or via a pick list. Product selection is straightforward and simple with the chance of operator error being significantly reduced. This impressive feature has been improved still further with the inclusion of serial number scanning, both improving and simplifying product traceability.
