SMI Knowledge Transfer, a business unit of JKTech, delivers a range of professional development activities, training courses and workshops in a variety of locations, including on-site capital city or regional venues, within Australia and around the world.  SMI KT is able to draw upon the expertise of scientists and engineers from the Sustainable Minerals Institute at the University of Queensland, and specialists from JKTech to deliver professional development and training courses on a wide range of topics related to sustainable development in the minerals industry.  Topic areas include ore characterisation, mining and geology, mineral processing, community and safety issues as well as issues related to environmental and water management.
