Modbus Master/Slave Communication Module - PTQ-MCM The ProTalk Modbus Master/Slave Communication Module allows Schneider Electric Quantum processors to interface easily with other Modbus protocol compatible devices and hosts. The data transfer from the Quantum processor is asynchronous from the actions on the Modbus network.
Compatible devices include not only Modicon PLCs (which support the Modbus protocol) but also a wide assortment of third-party devices.
Many host SCADA packages support the Modbus protocol, while devices commonly supporting the protocol include several PLCs, as well as many other third-party devices.

Gas/Liquid Flow Computer Module - PTQ-AFC The ProTalk Q Gas & Liquid Flow Computer Module is a Quantum backplane compatible module that allows Quantum processors to easily support flow applications with 16 meter runs performing measurement of hydrocarbon gases or oil using AGA 3, 7, 8 and API 2540 measurement standards.
The module obtains it’s process inputs for the calculations using analog data collected by the Quantum processor from analog input module. The PTQ-AFC module reads these process input values out of the Quantum data memory, and then calculates the flow rates, accumulated volumes, accumulated mass and accumulated energy (heating value). The calculation results are transferred back to the Quantum memory for use in the application ladder program or for transfer back to a SCADA host.

DNP3.0 Master/Slave Communication Module - PTQ-DNP
The ProTalkQ DNP 3.0 Master/Slave Communication Module is a Quantum backplane compatible module that allows Quantum processors to easily interface with DNP 3.0 compatible devices and hosts. Devices commonly supporting the protocol include relays, breakers, sub-station communication modules and other serial devices most commonly associated with power monitoring.
The module supports DNP Subset Level 2 features and some of the Level 3 features allowing the many SCADA and field devices supporting the DNP protocol to be integrated into the Quantum platform. The module acts as a gateway between the DNP network and the Modicon backplane. The data transfer from the Quantum processor is asynchronous from the actions on the DNP network. Databases are user defined and stored in the module to hold the data required by the protocol.

HART Multi-Drop Master Communication Module - PTQ-HART
The ProTalk Q HART Multi-drop Master Communication Module is a Quantum backplane-compatible module that allows Quantum processors to easily interface with HART compatible devices. Devices commonly supporting the protocol include pressure, temperature, flow transmitters, as well as other similar instruments commonly found in the process (and other) industry.
The PTQ-HART module is used to interface up to 15 devices on each of four (4) HART multi-drop channels with a Quantum processor. The four ports on the module support HART master commands to interface with slave devices on their own networks. Each port is individually configurable. Data is exchanged between the HART network and the Quantum processor backplane using the internal database contained in the module. The database is user-defined and stored in the module to hold the data required by the protocol.

The ProTalk Q PTQ-PDPMV1 module is a powerful communication interface for Unity and Quantum platform processors. Developed under license from Schneider Electric, the module incorporates proprietary backplane technology that enables powerful data exchange with Unity and Quantum processors.
The PTQ-PDPMV1 PROFIBUS DP/DPV1 Master Module supports complete Master specifications according to IEC 61158. Acyclic parameter data can be transferred with Class 1 or Class 2 DPV1 services, allowing processors to easily communicate with slave devices supporting PROFIBUS DPV0/V1protocol.
The module acts as a gateway between the PROFIBUS network and the Unity or Quantum processors. Data transfer from the processor is asynchronous with the I/O data transfer on the PROFIBUS network. Databases are user-defined and stored in the module to hold the data required by the protocol.
