Fischer Connectors, represented by Soanar - Power, Interconnect & Display in Australia and New Zealand breaks new ground in miniaturisation with the release of the new MiniMax connectors.
A new rugged push-pull interconnect solution for today’s smaller devices, the MiniMax connector is an all-in-one 20 signal (0.5A) and 4 power (5A) connector with patent-pending 24 mixed contacts. Designed for harsh environments, the connectors have passed extreme temperature tests and boast an impressive 1,000 hours of salt water spray.
About the width of a push-pin, the MiniMax is designed so that the power and signal don’t interfere with one another, and is expected to be used in various hazardous environments on portable equipment such as communications devices, and even in medical and harsh industrial applications.
Fischer MiniMax ultra high-density push pull connectors will enable customers to apply more connections into a smaller space. The MiniMax is more cost-effective thanks to its physically smaller dimensions as well as its 24-contact configuration that ensures fewer connectors are used. The 100% pre-cabled solution is also a great time saver.
The MiniMax is available in three latching systems: push-pull, breakaway and screw lock.
Key features of Fischer MiniMax connectors:
- Small profile; less than 7mm inside the box
- Sealed to 2m, both mated and unmated
- Unbreakable keying system withstands over 4 Nm of torque
- Over-moulded assemblies able to withstand 40kg of pull force
- Salt water spray corrosion resistance: 1,000 hours
