The Camsensor Q:Seal Jar Lid ensures properly sealed lids on vacuumed food containers. It provides comprehensive quality checking and rejects products which are not vacuum sealed or have missing lids from the production line.
Utilising the Camsensor smart camera and laser line generator, the top surface of the lid is profiled at high speed, as it passes on the conveyor. The 3D profile information is then used to measure the deflection of the lid centre relative to the lid outer circumference.
The Q:Seal Jar Lid is suitable for all pop lid vacuum sealed glass container filling lines.
It provides an accurate and flexible solution for checking all jar heights, sizes, lid styles and lid colours.
Rather than using a fixed height measurement methods, which are susceptible to vibration of the product on the conveyor belt, the Q:Seal Jar Lid factors for the inevitable movement and vibration of the product.
The system automatically rejects product with imperfect seals and missing lids, whilst the Camconsole operator display provides production information and images of reject product and the ability to easily setup the system for new products.
By constantly tracking average measured vacuum levels the Q:Seal Jar Lid can provide an advance warning of vacuum filler problems before larger batches of products are ruined.
