Roast Analyser/Spectrophotometer | RoAmi
How does it work?
A near infrared beam of light from the handheld spectrophotometer beams onto coffee sample. A roast that is lighter in colour will reflect more light than a darker roast sample. The amount of light that is reflected back is converted into a percentage by the RoAmi interface software. The higher the number, the lighter the roast (more light reflected). This percentage corresponds with a description of the roast degree.
