Pilz - Safety Relays for Gates, Stops and ...
The flexible Pilz PNOZ X2.7P and the PNOZ X2.8P safety relays are suitable for safety gates, emergency stops, start switches and light curtains.
Four operating modes are available, including single channel mode; dual channel modes without shorts detections across contacts; dual channel mode with shorts across contacts detection; and monitored manual start. The PNOZ X2.8P also features an automatic reset function.
With the options of automatic reset and monitored manual start, the Pilz safety relays are suitable for a variety of safety scenarios. For applications where operators enter a safety enclosure for example, the Pilz monitored manual start function offers high-level protection against unsafe machinery starts. The system monitors for failure or defeat to the on position of the reset button, providing added redundancy and safety.
With housings measuring just 22.5mm, both new Pilz safety relays maximise the limited space in control cabinets and are easy to install. Their pluggable terminals mean there is no need to wire and unwire – when changes are required, the relays can be simply unplugged from the DIN rail.
The safety relays are supported with a free wiring diagram service and comprehensive technical expertise from Pilz Australia safety specialists.
