Skybury - Mareeba QLD, Australia - This existing Australian processing facility needed an upgrad.

So, when building of a new pack house was commissioned, the client called in Dyno. With the requirement to be particularly sensitive to their valuable, and expanding, papaya crop, based on a 300 acre plantation, established some 25 years ago.

Dyno committed to understanding the particular challenges of the crop and the needs of owner Ian McLaughlin and his quality requirements.

The brief was to manage the delicate papayas from the moment they arrived at the Packhouse, through a series of conveyors which carefully manoeuvred the fruit in and out of a water in-feed system, onto soft vinyl-covered conveyor shelves, and to their final destination in foam trays which cushion them all the way to market.
