The compact DC 400 is ideal for placement at entrance and exit portals such as office doors, industrial dock doors, security gates or custom-designed portals on conveyor manufacturing lines. The system includes both multi-protocol RFID readers and high-performance antennas for fast, accurate reading of RFID tags. It is one of the first commercially available 900 MHz portal solutions, the DC 400 expands the benefits of mobility –
increased productivity, enhanced inventory visibility and real-time information access – to every asset that passes through the dock doors or portals.
- Superior Asset Tracking for Every Facility
Within the DC 400 system, RFID readers are direct-wired or wireless local area network (WLAN) connected and detect signals from RFID tags located on cases or pallets of assets. When passing through the dock door, the RFID reader communicates the case or pallet information to the system server, which is then immediately communicated to inventory and/or warehouse management systems (WMS). Information captured and communicated includes details such as location, time, temperature, and asset identity or number.
