These stencils have typically been based upon conventional etching techniques using a base material of stainless steel.
During this time we have undertaken in-house R&D to establish improved methods of producing solder paste stencils, including the use of laser techniques to produce a more repeatable and accurate result at lower cost.
In addition to supplying stainless steel stencils, we are now able to supply the electronics industry with advanced stencils fabricated from Polyamide material, which offer a number of advantages over the stainless steel product.
Recently commissioned UV laser equipment allows us to provide customers with high accuracy, cost effective, polyamide solder paste stencils with fast turnaround times.
The computer based systems and processes developed include custom software to control the laser hardware to its optimum performance levels, thereby maximising accuracy and quality of the finished product. All standard CAD/CAM files can used with this facility, including Gerber and Protel formats.
