Speciality Polymers | Beki-Shield
Beki-Shield stainless steel fibres are an excellent means to make thermoplastics, elastomers, rubbers, floor and wall coatings conductive for EMI shielding or ESD protective purposes.
Non conductive plastics are transparent to electro-magnetic radiation and can prevent the use of plastics for some electronic devices. One solution is to make the plastic conductive by adding Beki-Shield stainless steel fibres.
Electrically insulating plastics and coatings can cause electrostatic charging and discharging problems in some applications. Addition of Beki-Shield fibres makes the polymer conductive to prevent charge build up or provide a safe path for current discharge.
