The Ultraspin integrated systems is designed for that purpose. Our Integrated skimming systems often work in combination with a separate Ultraspin oily water treatment separation system. An Ultraspin oily water treatment system provides water treatment in addition to simple oil skimming.

Features
Plug and Play: The Integrated system includes all items typically required for a simple oil skimming system.
Low Maintenance: Our systems are supplied with 3mm strainer basket to reduce blockages and potential damage to the pump. As well we use air operated diaphragm pump which are self-priming and notes for low maintenance.

Typical Applications
Applications with gross oil loads or potential risks for oil spills need to install this primary skimming system.
Gross oil skimming from effluent collection pits, tanks, interceptors, etc.
Oil spill clean-up on open waters such as Lakes, rivers and harbours.

Water Decant Tanks
Simple oil skimming systems always skim a lot of water with the oil. As a result Ultraspin Integrated skimming systems almost always includes an Ultraspin decant tank.

With an Ultraspin decant tank the excess water can be automatically drained back to the pit and concentrated oil collected in the decant tank; or discharged to a separate oil tank (see option below).

The size of the decant tank that Ultraspin will recommend depends on if the decant tanks are stand alone or to be used in combination with an Ultraspin water treatment system.

Typical recommendations:
Stand-alone: 1000 L to 5000 L
Combined: 5000 L

Oil Tanks
A separate dedicated concentrated oil tank, in addition to the decant tank, is recommended for many situations; for example when there are high oil loads. In this instance an oil overflow is used on the on the oil collection/ decant tank. Sometimes the oil tank with the Ultraspin water treatment system can be used.

System Controls
Manual control for systems are standard but automated pneumatic controls can be added to integrate the system to a separate Ultraspin oily water treatment system. In this manner the Integrated skimming system will start /stop automatically when the Ultraspin water treatment system The Ultraspin integrated systems is designed for that purpose.
