SpillSmart containment products have been designed to compliment the SpillSmart Absorbent range to provide a total spill control system.

SpillSmart pillows, socks and booms all contain materials that are fully biodegradable. The covers for each product are made from natural cotton products.

In addition within the filler there are microbes present that are capable of bioremediating (eating) hydrocarbons such as, oil, fuel and grease.

SpillSmart Pillows, Pads, Socks and Booms cater for many emergencies, assisting to contain any liquid spill so that a proper clean-up can be undertaken after the initial spill is safely & responsibly contained.

SpillSmart Pads

Envirosmart offers a variety of Spillsmart sorbents pads to meet your particular needs in containment of a spill or spill clean up.

We have three different types of sorbents pads to help you get the job done in recovering petroleum based liquids as well as hazardous liquids on land and water effectively, while reducing cost.

Use our (hydrophobic) oil only sorbents in both polypropylene and our all cotton alternative if you need to recover only petroleum-based liquids on land or water.

To recover petroleum-based liquids, water-based liquids, or virtually any liquid that you may encounter when it's not easily identifiable, use our yellow Hazchem sorbent pads which will absorb virtually all liquids at a high absorption rate.

Hazchem pads can also be used for general maintenance and also for wiping down machinery and equipment.

All three of these products come in both pad and roll form.

  • Cotton – Cotton pads are made from 100% cotton and are suitable for recovery of oil only spills.
  • White – oil only poly propylene pads are made from a spun bonded poly cover and filled with poly particulate allowing this pad to float on water.
  • Yellow – HazChem poly propylene pads for recovery of virtually all liquids whilst not being affected by strong acids or oxidizing chemicals.
