Elevated oxygen transfer values, low noise levels, increased reliability, low cost and ease of installation are some of the advantages offered by these SC submerged aerators.
In operation the submerged motor drives an impeller, inducing a low-pressure zone within the impeller and drawing in air or other gases to mix with the liquid covering the aerator.
The system is installed in free-standing style in the bottom of the mixing tank and works in all directions, avoiding any dead zones.
Also the compact design of the aerator and its portability means that tanks do not have to be emptied for installation or maintenance work.
Applications in Process and General Industry
SCM submerged aerators are suitable for many applications in general process industries requiring of dissolving gases in liquids, whether for aeration or chemical processes.
Applications in Water and Wastewater
One of the most common applications of SCM submerged aerators is in wastewater treatment, providing high rates of oxygen transfer and efficient mixing.
