This level sensor is based on Piezoresistive technology, and designed for relative gauge pressure applications in hydraulic level measurement.
The housing is made of 316L stainless steel, and rigid, robust probe construction with vent hose cable for submersible applications. They are therefore suitable for hydraulic level measurement.
This level probe from Bestech Australia has a variety of measuring ranges, between 0 – 0.5 and 0 – 200 mH2O. These probes have output signals in millivoltage (80 mV standard), or amplified 4-20 mA or 1-5V, 0-5V signals. The measuring accuracy is ±0.25% FSO, with an excitation of 5-10 VDC or 2mA required. The transducers possess low temperature coefficients of less than ±0.02%FSO/°C for both Zero and Span in the compensated temperature range of 0 - 70°C, while long-term stability is better than ±0.5%FSO/year.
Each submersible hydraulic level probe comes with a 25m cable. The unit has an environmental protection rating of IP67 and IP 68 depending on the depth of liquid.
