The Fastect® II K2 Dipstick is an in-vitro screen test for the rapid detection of JWH-018 N-pentanoic and JWH-073 N-butanoic acid metabolites in urine.
Synthetic cannabinoids JWH-018, JWH-073 and JWH-250 are among the most common ingredients in "Spices" that mimic the effect of cannabis. Such products are commonly marketed under terms such as "Kronic" and "K2". These substances have the potential to be extremely harmful and therefore are a concern for workplace and public safety.
The results of the Fastect® K2 screen assay for qualitative detection of the major metabolites of JWH-018 and JWH-073 agree well with LC/MS/MS analysis, and it is sensitive and specific as a screening assay.
