The Linx Thermal Transfer Overprinter (TTO) series enables increased production line uptime in several ways. One is through using motors, rather than clutches, to control ribbon tension, which minimises the risk of ribbon breaks. Also the ribbon-cassette design provides a simple ribbon path which ensures changing ribbons is quick and simple. Less maintenance and faster ribbon changeover means increased uptime.
Linx Thermal Transfer Overprinters (TTO) are also easy to use - colour touch-screens result in fewer errors and hassle-free operation, while an intuitive graphic user interface allows message preview before coding.
Bi-directional motors drive both ribbon unwind and re-wind reels, creating more prints per ribbon and leaving only a 1mm gap between messages. Consumables use is very efficient, and no overprinting occurs.
The Thermal Transfer Overprinter's (TTO) design allows manufacturers to switch easily between intermittent and continuous printing modes, as well as left or right-hand operation. They fit into many existing coder brackets, enabling straightforward retro fitting to production lines.

The Thermal Transfer Overprinter (TTO) - Linx TT3 has a print area of 32mm W x 30mm L and is ideal for simple date and batch coding such as printing best before dates.
TT5: The Thermal Transfer Overprinter (TTO) - Linx TT5 model has a 1,000m ribbon, which is one of the longest standard ribbons on the market. This means less-frequent changes, which also increases production-line efficiency. It has a standard ribbon width of up to 55mm, and is therefore particularly suitable for printing best-before dates and batch codes.
TT10: With its wider ribbon of up to 110mm, the Thermal Transfer Overprinter (TTO) - Linx TT10 model is perfect for printing larger messages, such as ingredients, logos and promotional information.
