People with this qualification can become industry trainers and assessors in areas of their vocation or enterprise. The TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment specified the competencies required to deliver training in an industry areas or area of subject matter expertise, and to conduct competency-based assessment in a range of contexts.
It will enable participants to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to competently perform the role of a skilled trainer, facilitator and assessor in the Workplace and the VET sector generally.

Program articulation: Students who successfully complete the core unit of this qualification may gain articulation into the Diploma of Training and Assessment (TAA50104). You may also gain advanced standing in the Diploma for an elective module
Program duration: the course is self-paced, which allows students to be able to complete the course in their own time frame
Assessment methods: Students may be required to complete written and oral exams online, participate in simulated activities, complete assignments, presentations, vocational projects and role plays. For practical students are required to be assessed either in a workplace or by uploading a video submission online
Recognition of prior learning: participants with previous training and/or experience may apply for RPL. Participants, who have completed courses with equivalent/matching learning outcomes, will be granted credit transfer
Accreditation: Qualifications are issued by Sand Goanna RTO: 32143 and are nationally recognised throughout Australia under the (AQTF) Australian Quality Training Framework
