Created to operate seamlessly with robotic AVGs, the Kim trolley was designed to work hard – carrying, storing, moving things – while looking good. We worked closely with the Australian government, leading laundry experts, and brains behind the newest Queensland hospital to come up with a concept that has since revolutionised the industry.
A tunnel below the chassis allows for an Automated Guided Vehicle (AVG) to silently slide beneath the trolley, lift it, and take it to the next destination. We made sure that every detail was perfect for its hospital application. So our standard is that only food grade polyethylene is used. The chassis is made from galvanised steel or optional stainless steel, with narrow wheel frames means the total width is only 800mm, so 3 Kims will fit into a 2400mm wide truck.
The Kim trolley is incredibly strong and dangerously attractive. Created to operate seamlessly with robotic AVGs, the Kim trolley was designed to work hard – carrying, storing, moving things – while looking good.
This means that hospital staff can remain focussed on what’s most important – caring for patients.
