Two experts in their respective fields have joined forces to deliver an appealing solution to replace expensive direct-printed vacuum shrink bags. Australian label application machinery specialist Tronics has developed a labelling system for Avery Dennison's Shrink PS label film. The two companies collaborated on the project, which was co-ordinated by Tronics national sales manager Shaun Rainier.
Shrink PS is a patent-pending label designed for application to shrinkable bags widely used across the meat and dairy industries. The pressure-sensitive label is printed and adhered to unfilled vacuum shrinks, withstanding the pressure, heat and water of the vacuum shrink process.
The Australian designed and manufactured Tronics Shrink Labelling system enables Shrink PS to be applied quickly and smoothly to shrink bags.
Rainer says: "The system is easy to use and built to last; it enables quick toll changes, reel-to-reel labelling or single bag tear-away for easy label and fill."
The machinery is manufactured at Tronics Melbourne site and will be supplied across the Asia Pacific region.
