Trotec presents the SP4000 - an automated large format laser cutter for soft signage.
FESPA 2018 will be the largest 'large format' event in the world. Encompassing screen, digital and textile print, the exhibition will see over 700 exhibiting brands take to Berlin Germany. Among others, Trotec will be presenting something very special at this event... The award-winning SP series just got a little bigger with the SP4000C!
SP4000C - Soft Signage Applications
This year, we are highlighting the fully automated laser system: the SP4000C. It's perfect for soft signage applications, including banners, flags and light boxes. It has a maximum roll-width of 3,210mm, making it the largest machine we have created yet. The laser beam strategically melts the material while it cuts it, resulting in clean and perfectly sealed edges - no more fraying! And, thanks to the contactless and tool-free process, elastic material can be cut consistently with zero distortions.
By combining an automated solution with high cutting speeds and impressive accuracy, it becomes easy to achieve high production volumes of the utmost quality. This large format laser machine can be configured around a conveyor belt with a feeder unit and unloading table (depending on the desired workflow). All components will always be perfectly matched.
The SP series of laser machines are highly efficient and ideally suited for any demanding cutting application, including acrylic, wood or cardboard cutting. Due to the distinct and open design of the slanted, v-shaped body and four-sided access, the SP2000 (1.68 x 2.51m) is easy to work with and allows economic loading and unloading - even during processing! The larger SP3000 (2.2 x 3.2m) has already been honoured with two of the most renowned international design prizes: the iF Design Award and the German Design Award. So just imagine what the SP4000C will achieve...
Trotec will also be presenting the ever-so popular flexx laser machines, displaying the maximum possibilities and flexibility they can offer. These flatbed laser machines are equipped with both a CO2 and a fiber laser source. The two lasers can be activated without having to manually change the laser source, lens or focus. Almost anything can be marked, cut or engraved. You can mark plastic, glass and metal with the fiber laser and cut or engrave things like wood, acrylic and paper with the CO2. You can even processed workpieces with mixed materials!
