Inditherm has established itself as the expert in the use of low voltage heating solutions for many different industries and applications. Their patented flexible carbon polymer technology delivers a completely uniform heating profile across the whole surface of the jacket, maximising the available power and making low voltage supply a viable option for certain applications.
One of these applications is to maintain the temperature of product stored in 205 litre drums or 1000 litre Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC) while they are mounted on or are being transported by truck. The Delta Frost Protection heater jackets run off a 24v circuit when operating on the truck and can be plugged into a 240v circuit via a Powerpack when the truck is parked up. In this way the heater jacket can prevent products such as grease from becoming too cold overnight or during transport, making them usable in the morning.
The Delta Frost Protection heater jackets are provided with 20mm thick synthetic rubber insulation to complement the low voltage heater and have a thermostat cut-out at 30°C. The emphasis of these products is to stop heat loss rather than to heat product up.
PLEASE NOTE: These heater jackets will provide a means of reducing heat loss overnight or while a drum or IBC is mounted on a truck. They are not heaters in the true sense as they have very low wattage to apply to the product. Best use would be achieved by placing a jacket around the drum or IBC during the warmth of the day.
The Delta Frost Protection heater jackets are not provided with the plug interface with the truck's 24v system.
