The tubular power wire wound resistors from Australian Resistors are an extremely flexible range of resistors allowing for multiple styles of termination, from ferrule, edison base, solder terminal and flexible leads. Available tolerances on this range are 5 per cent above 50 ohms and 10 per cent below 50 ohms.
PYROSIL Coating Benefits:
Low temperature cured - no limitations for wire specifications
Resists chipping and for mechanical robustness
Uneffected by most solvents for resistance of environmental attack
Withstand temperatures of 1000°C
A 1 per cent tolerance option is available upon request. As well as fixed resistance values this series can be manufactured with resistance tappings to your specification as well as an adjustable option by way of a movable adjustment band. It is possible to manufacture the resistor range to a 2KV rating on request.
We have a complete range of power wound resistors from 5 watts to 1200 watts. Including a new 300W model which has the same dimensions as the 200W version.

Australian Resistors | Fixed & Variable Wire Wound Resistors
Australian manufacturers of fixed and variable wire wound resistors.
Australian Resistors as the name implies is an Australian company privately owned and largely dedicated to the manufacture of wire wound resistors and lays claim to being the largest volume producer of resistors in the country. We have acquired the latest in winding and testing technology to ensure the quality of our products is second to none. Australian Resistors also produces its own coatings and metal parts such as terminals and brackets "inhouse".
We pride ourselves on the high level of quality achieved. Our quality system and manufacturing procedures are based on the ISO 9002 model. Further, all our products are 2 tier tested with every resistor being 100% tested on "state of the art" automatic or manual testing equipment, followed by a further sample check to ensure no system failure has occurred.
