The rapid growth in consumer demand for RTD beverages in cans, PET and glass has increased the need for high accuracy, high speed filling control. To answer this Bürkert has released the Type 8056 sanitary mag flow meter.
Dedicated to process applications that do not require local push-button programming or display, the blind Type 8056 mag flow meter delivers higher accuracy over a very wide flow velocity range. The Type 8056 is engineered for fast filling applications with short reaction time, high speed sampling (short sampling / measurement time) and high speed frequency output, making it ideal for filling systems.
“With the high cost of even small volumes of some fluids, accuracy in filling applications is vital,” said Bürkert Managing Director Chris Hoey. “It only needs a small overfill per unit to multiply into a significant loss across a production line, which is just throwing money away.

Built for the challenging sanitary environment, Bürkert’s Type 8056 sanitary mag flow meter is certified to 3A and is IP67. It is suitable for precise flow control and measurement of conductive liquids, batching or dosing in food and beverage applications. The unit has a measuring range 0 .. 10l/h up to 0 .. 280m3/h. Stainless steel with a PTFE lining, the mag flow meter suits liquids -20ºC to 130ºC and to 16 bar.
Bürkert’s Type 8056 sanitary mag flow meter is additionally available in versions with display in compact and remote electronics. Low flow and general purpose versions are also available.
