GEBEL StormCycle systems can be supplied for all sizes of application, from single dwellings to large industrial and commercial sites. Reap the savings from harvesting rainwater The free natural resource.

The StormCycle System is based around a filament wound glass reinforced plastic GEBEL Aquasafe underground storage tank. These are available in capacities from 4,000 to 300,000 litres, while multiple units can hold in excess of one million litres.

Rainwater is collected from roof areas or hardstandings and diverted through a filter chamber into the GEBEL Aquasafe underground storage tank. The stainless steel filter unit separates out leaves and debris.

Three systems are available to deliver filtered rainwater, the GS (Gravity System), the PS (Pressure System) and GS/PS system (a combination of the two). All systems can incorporate fine in-line filtration, UV disinfection and mains back-up to ensure a continuous supply of quality rainwater for many uses and processes.

In new developments where stormwater attenuation is required the GEBEL Aquasafe underground storage tank can be utilised to reduce or eliminate such requirements.

 Collecting rainwater

Rainwater from roofs or hardstandings, which would have gone down the drains, is filtered to remove debris and leaves. It is then stored in GEBEL Aquasafe underground tanks, fitted with submersible pumps.

When water is collected from areas used for vehicle parking, a StormCycle by-pass separator may be required to remove fuel and oil residues. We shall be pleased to advise.

 Storing rainwater

GEBEL Aquasafe tanks can be supplied individually or as part of a complete StormCycle system. Underground tanks keep the water cool, minimising the possibility of odours or microbial growth. However, systems can be supplied which provide a warning of warming within the pipework and demand a flow to reduce the temperature.
