These unique Robots, or Cobots as they are called, are able to work alongside human operators thus increasing their productivity and product quality.
Their small size and ease of programming means they are easy to deploy, and can be easily relocated to work on different tasks. Cobots can be used to work alongside human operators without fencing provided a risk assessment deems that it is save to do so. The tasks best suited to Cobots are those which are very repetitive and simple. i.e. extremely boring for human operators. Using Cobots to perform these tasks allows existing operators to be utilized for more technical tasks where higher skill levels are necessary.
