A new non-contact coded safety switch, PSENcode, from Pilz meets the highest requirements for safety gate monitoring, has the highest level of security and 10 can be connected in a single series.

PSENcode non-contact coded safety switch satisfies Category 4 of AS4024.1 and the definite assignment of a switch and its counterpart makes it almost impossible to defeat the safety gate as required by state plant regulations. A unique, fully coded version of the switch is also available for particularly demanding safety applications.

Ten safety switches can be connected in series and meet Category 4 requirements, making PSENcode non-contact coded safety switch, non-contact coded safety switch ideal for complex plant and minimising the amount of wiring involved.

PSENcode non-contact coded safety switch is quick and easy to install, as there is no need to wire a second switch. Five directions of actuation and a long switching distance of at least 17mm ensure maximum flexibility during installation.

Dust resistant and waterproof, the PSENcode non-contact coded safety switch is rated at IP67 and can be used in the pharmaceutical and food industry as well as on metal processing plant and machinery.

The new PSENcode non-contact coded safety switches expand the existing Pilz range of non-contact magnetic safety switches. It complements safe monitoring technology, including safe PNOZ relays, PSS programmable safety systems and the safe, open bus system, SafetyBUS p.
