The straining vibrations for the driver in the cabin are considerably reduced. The distinctive feature is the connection of two components – the spring and the damper. The design of the suspension accumulator is adapted to the requirements of the vehicle. Thus an optimal overall system for a cabin suspension is achieved.
By a low-friction suspension cylinder, that has been especially developed for this application very good responding qualities of the suspension are achieved. By the integrated position measuring system with the level control the complete spring travels are available. With the adjustable damping and the aligned spring characteristic an optimally tuned suspension for the vehicle is designed.
The spring damper element FDE 2 is offered in a passive and semi-active version.
