Omron, a global leader in industrial automation, will conduct a free breakfast seminar to showcase its latest products, at its headquarters in Silverwater, Sydney later this month.
Clients and potential clients can learn more about Omron's cutting edge automation technology with technical advice from its team of experts.
On show will be Omron's new NJ501-1320 Machine Automation Controller (which the company has dubbed the "MAC").
"It'll be networked as a client, to a Microsoft SQL Server 2012 database, says Omron's Engineering Manager, Mr Harry Mulder.
"We'll be running queries to the database, using the industry standard SQL Language.
"We'll also be running the latest version of our Sysmac Studio integrated development package, which includes support for database connections."
Mr Mulder says attendees can learn how this technology can increase productivity and save on costs.
And as usual, Omron will have a large range of its other products on display for seminar guests.
Last December, Omron conducted its final Breakfast Seminar for 2014 featuring the Delta-3 Robot and latest vision sensor technology.
More than 30 clients attended the event at Silverwater.
Mr Mulder demonstrated the pick and place capabilities of the Delta-3 Robot and how it can benefit a broad range of industry sectors.
And Mr George Nematian, Product Manager – Advanced Sensors, gave visitors a preview of the Omron FQ vision sensor, a fully automated product inspection system.
The Omron FQ-M vision sensor is designed specifically for motion applications and is able to detect the position of several pieces moving on a conveyor at very high speeds, increasing the overall throughput of the machine.
