Washing Equipment - Medical / Ward washing / Deko-190

Supplier: Rhima Australia Pty Ltd

Cleaning at ward level is in most cases a risky manual process. The DEKO-190 allows different items to be flushed, washed and disinfected in one contained process, without the need for manual pre-emptying or cleaning

Price Guide: POA

It is a simple, safe and cost effective process that minimises risk to both staff and patients. The Deko-190 complies with PrEN ISO 15883-3. The Deko-190, its accessories and detergent are registered with the Australian Register for Therapeutic Goods.

At ward level all re-useable items should be treated as infectious. They need to be made safe before commencing any further processing stages.

Wash bowls, bowls with wound fluids and bowls with vomit need to be physically emptied in an open sluice before they are manually washed. In some cases these items are then placed in a dedicated washer/disinfector.

Soiled instruments in emergency departments have to be manually rinsed/cleaned before being returned to a central processing department. If toilet brushes and their holders are cleaned, it is a manual operation without disinfection.
