He has had sales roles in a variety of customer segments ranging from a relationship manager for large listed companies in Australia and USA to managing a sales team for small businesses in suburban Melbourne.
He also held senior roles in Operations, Product and Channel Management, including being the Chief of Staff to ANZ's Group Chief Operating Officer for 2 years.
It looks like Simon's banking career was good to him as it enabled travel to all parts of Australia and the Pacific Islands (including Port Moresby which apparently was interesting!) plus a 3 year posting in New York City during the .com boom.
Born and raised in Melbourne, Simon and his wife have two boys aged 7 and 8 who also follow Collingwood (of course!) and any chances to work on his other passion, photography, are taken when he is not wrangling his sons.
