The Photon has a battery powered transmitter whilst the PC50 Reflective Beam relies on a reflective disk to complete the circuit.

Photon PE Safety Beam

Save time and money by fitting the Photon PE Safety Beam. Only Photon receiver is connected to the power supply as the transmitter is battery powered. This means that there is no digging across the driveway. The transmitter is housed in a compact waterproof IP 54 ABS enclosure.

The batteries will last a minimum of two years so the system is fail safe with very low power consumption. The Photon is a pleasure to work with, has a 10 metre range and a great design.

i5 PE Safety Beam

The i5 PE Safety Beam comprises of a transmitter and receiver that are fitted on opposite sides of an entrance. An infra-red beam is sent from the transmitter to the receiver. When the beam is disrupted the receiver relay will give a signal to stop or open a door or gate.

The beams can operate up to 40 metres but are self-aligning up to 10 metres. They are housed in an IP 54 ABS waterproof enclosure.

PC50 Reflective PE Beam

The PC50 Reflective Safety Beam is housed in a durable IP 67 ABS waterproof enclosure and is supplied with a reflective disk and mounting bracket for easy adjustment.

The maximum operating distance is 10 metres.
