Brisbane branch celebrates 25 years with a new and larger showroom

Celebrating 25 years since their first opening, the branch is proud to announce that they have relocated to a brand new 3,700m2 showroom, with the convenience of displaying their complete range and new release products all under the one roof.

Warren Cooper, Brisbane’s branch manager and an employee of the company for 27 years, relocated from Sydney taking the opportunity to open and manage the Brisbane branch. At the time, one other staff member was employed, Mark Walters, who is current sales manager.

In 1989 in the suburb of Woolloongabba, the Brisbane branch began trading in a 600m2 showroom. By 1994 and now with a total of 4 staff members they out grew their premises and relocated to Macgregor, with a larger showroom of 900m2.

They remained at Macgregor for a further 10 years, and by the end of 2003 extensions were made into the adjoining units, creating a larger showroom of some 1,400m2 and bringing the number of staff to a total of 9 members.

In 2004, Coopers Plains became their new home. A grand showroom/warehouse of 4,200m2, located at 626 Boundary Road.  Due to the growth of their extensive product range of machinery & tools, and with staff numbers exceeding 30, they out grew their premises.

Once again the search commenced for a larger building, and as it turned out the answer was in front of them all along. 

Across the road was a large warehouse of 3700m2, the decision was made to purchase the building and transform it into the brand new showroom.

The newly designed showroom consists of 600m2 where customers can shop for all those smaller items in air conditioned comfort. The remainder of the building is used to house one of the largest displays of engineering and woodworking equipment in Australia and exceeds 3000m2 in area.

Number 626 on Boundary road remains as their warehouse and now accommodates for the volume of stock the branch requires which exceeds some 5000 products.
