The installation of any industry standard belt weigher to a conveyor structure would require the removal of angular bracing, cross bracing and any other structural steel located within the conveyor section where the beltweigher is to be located. Removal of structural steel potentially weakens the conveyor and requires re-engineering of the truss or conveyor modules.
