The N.G.D energy dissipater is a tailor-made device, used in opened ends applications and designed to reduce the upstream pressure ‘Pu’ to a set pressure ‘Pd’ at a designed flow rate ‘Q’.

The length of the energy dissipater ‘A’ is determined by the required pressure drop ‘Pu - Pd’, which determines the number of pressure reduction stages.
