Thinking about leasing? - 10 things you need to know

There is growing pressure for companies to consider renting rather than owning. Industrial land is often snapped up by developers when a site is rural, long before it even looks like an industrial estate.  Land to purchase is therefore scarce.

If land is available, it is not 1st-choice property, but can instead be the property that developers didn't want due to difficult shape or environmental constraints.  If you find yourself thinking about a lease rather than owning, what are the factors you need to consider?

Can delaying your project save it or sink it?
Programming decisions can significantly impact the overall financial outcome of a project. Sometimes clients delay the project, hoping that the market will cool down. But, is this a good idea?  The question is how will the market conditions evolve in the next couple of years? High levels of construction activity imply potential cost overruns, whilst media reports of market volatility, further interest rises and even a potential recession on the horizon can make anyone nervous.

Time for a face lift?

Parker Hannifin have an innovative crisp new look that replicates its corporate identity as world leader in the manufacture of motion, control technologies and systems.

The previous look was typical of the early days of new generation; however, this was an ideal time to update this post modern style to reflect their corporate personality and current place in the market as well as profiting from additional space, layout efficiencies and newer more modern staff facilities.

The new look certainly expresses Parker Hanifin's position as a world leader and as a contemporary organisation to all of its customers and staff.
