These carbon composite vanes significantly increase the reliability and operational life of the vacuum pump. The internally developed, patented vacuum pump vanes are manufactured exclusively in our own plant.
Superior sliding properties enable operation with only small quantities of oil in the vacuum pump. Even without oil, emergency operation can continue for up to 24 hours.
Carbon composite vacuum pump vanes have a low level of wear and a long operational life in comparison to vanes constructed of other materials.
High temperature stability ensures that the vacuum pump continues to function perfectly if temperatures increase due to malfunctions. High dimensional accuracy ensures extremely high precision during manufacture and low material-specific expansion at high temperatures guarantee optimal final pressure in vacuum pumps.
High level of resistance to chemicals which also enables use with critical fluids in situations where vanes made from other materials, for example aluminium, are not suitable.
Vanes either made of aluminium or unbound glass fibre compounds, when used in applications that produce condensates often lead to cylinder damage (chatter marks); genuine Busch vanes made of carbon fibre compounds prevent chatter marks, avoiding costly repairs and the need for cylinder reconditioning.
