Why We’re Getting Into Waste With Australia’s Brightest Minds

When you’re working in some of the most challenging environments in Australia, you need ready-to-work trucks that can go where no one has gone before.

It’s the same for the waste industry and no two Australian streets, suburbs and rural collection routes are the same.

At STG, we love the entrepreneurial spirit of Australia, the underdogs and the self-made men and women we go to work for. That’s why, since getting into the waste industry, we have partnered with Australia’s best and brightest minds in manufacturing and tech, to bring you waste vehicles at the forefront of innovation.

And we want to introduce you to them.

COREMATIC Engineering

Bringing In The New Age Of Mechatronic Engineering

From the small country town of Bundaberg, Scott Hansen is the co-founder and director at COREMATIC Engineering. After studying mechatronic engineering he earned his stripes working for one of the leading waste body manufacturers and spent years there developing his skills.

Hansen co-founded COREMATIC Engineering, who are now the experts in robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning. They combine this with state-of-the-art R&D practices to empower businesses, take the risk out of innovation and help automate operations.

COREMATIC has helped some of Australia’s top leaders in agriculture and pharmaceuticals stay ahead by avoiding old technology that has fallen behind the times.

We’re working alongside COREMATIC to breathe new life into the Australian waste industry with trucks built and designed for the future of waste.

Whitelaw Hydraulics

Introducing Flawless Design and Quality

When Managing Director, Steve Whitelaw, set out to make Whitelaw Hydraulics the best hydraulics company in the country, not the biggest, we knew we were onto something.

After visiting their facility, we quickly saw the potential and value they could bring to our customers. With over 30 years of in-depth knowledge of hydraulics, Whitelaw uses tailored systems to suit each customer’s needs, as well as extremely high levels of quality control. They also offer an end-to-end service, as well as support after the product has been built.

With branches in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia as well as distributors across the country, we know Whitelaw can help us service customers in every corner of the country. They also import the highest quality products from world-leading, reputable names such as Lodar, Permco, Bondioli, Akon, Concentric, and Duplomatic.

STG Global Are Bringing The Brightest Minds Into Waste Innovation

We’ve been manufacturing truck bodies for more than 20 years and we know that rubbish collection is an essential part of everyday life and needs to be at the forefront of innovation.

Thanks to our friends at Whitelaw Hydraulics and COREMATICE Engineering, we are proud to produce the first Australian owned, elite fleet of innovative waste trucks. Utilising the latest technology, like an intuitive joystick and iPad interface, as well as the best mechanical designs in the world, we’ve developed an elite fleet of garbage trucks designed for safety, automation and efficiency.

The Bandit Side Loader and The Tusk Front Loader were successfully trialled in 2020 by one of Australia’s largest municipal waste collection services. They are now out on Australian streets in commercial use and being snapped up by leading waste contractors all over Australia.

The best part is, you don’t have to wait to get your hands on one of these vehicles. STG has planned to produce over 100 units in 2022. They are available to book a demo now at stgglobal.net.

We’re proud to partner with the brightest and best in the business to bring you the most innovative fleet of waste trucks in Australia.
