The Dumac Ruffy® is a vertical column pump ideal for mine dewatering and groundwater control, industrial waste disposal, agricultural effluent management for piggeries and dairies and anywhere that hard and abrasive solids suspended in a liquid need to be pumped.

Rugged

The CNC machined 4140 steel impeller has a deep, open vane design capable of pumping large and abrasive solids in suspension.

The high-tensile shaft steel (K1040 or 1045) is 1½" in diameter and trued to 0.005" (~0.1 mm), end to end.  Heavy duty ball bearings in all models make up its rugged design.

Flexible

The Dumac Ruffy® offers direct coupling or belt driven power, with a range of pump column lengths .76m - 1.82m (2'6" to 6') and motor options to suit a range of pumping applications.

• Direct Coupling come in 2.2kW or 3 kW motor capacities
• Belt Drive come in 4kW or 5kW motor capacities

No Fuss

The clever design of the Ruffy® means there's no need to screen your liquids.

There are no priming requirements as the pump casing is always submerged and there are no lower bearings

No need for suction hoses or extension pipes as the pump casing is where all the work occurs.  Also, there's standard 50mm (2") discharge outlet on all Ruffy® models.

With a well-designed pit and the Dumac Ruffy®, very little gets left behind.
