Powering CNC and Pneumatic Tools, Supported by Focus Industrial's Victorian Team

United Dreams, a timber joinery business based in Victoria, is one of the first projects to be backed by Focus Industrial’s expanding presence in the state. While we’ve completed installations in Melbourne previously, we now have a dedicated satellite service team based in Victoria, providing local product support as part of our service contracts. This means Victorian businesses get the same level of ongoing support, scheduled servicing, and rapid response that our NSW customers have relied on for years, without the wait times that come with interstate servicing.

United Dreams, a timber joinery business based in Victoria, needed a reliable compressed-air system to support both machinery and everyday pneumatic tools throughout the workshop. With a CNC machine at the centre of their operation, alongside a range of hand tools such as nail guns, blow guns, and drills, the business needed consistent air delivery across multiple points in the workshop without compromising on pressure or reliability.

To meet this, we supplied and installed an FC100-30D fixed speed compressor, a 10hp machine mounted onto a tank and paired with a dryer and a 3-stage filtration system to keep their air supply dry and clean for the specific demands of timber joineries.

The installation was designed to cater to the unique layout of this workshop. The client will be leaning full timber panels and boards against the workshop walls; therefore, the compressed air piping was run high to keep wall space clear for storage without limiting outlet access for tools. The system also considers future capacity, with the client set to bring an edgebander online, ensuring the compressor and pipework can support the additional equipment without requiring further work down the track.

For timber joinery businesses that balance CNC machinery, finishing equipment, and hand tools, this installation reflects how we approach compressed air systems. By sizing to the actual workload and designing around the workshop needs, we built to support growth as the business scales. It’s also a sign of what’s to come as we continue to grow our footprint across Victoria.
