Norbar bench-top Power Tool Test Fixture for testing a range of pneumatic torque wrenches such as Norbar’s Pneutorque® range, allowing users to bring torque testing in-house and significantly reduce costs.
Used in conjunction with the TruCheck™ Plus 1000*, the new fixture simulates the conditions of a bolted joint. Its use can reduce spend on testing, making it one of the most cost-effective ways of testing a wide variety of pneumatic torque wrenches with outputs up to 1000 N.m (750 lbf.ft).
Philip Brodey, Sales & Marketing Director of Norbar said: "The Power Tool Test Fixture cuts costs by reducing tool downtime for Pneutorque users. Users will no longer need to send their tools away for testing when they can test them in-house. Heavy users of pneumatic wrenches, such as production lines, will be able to implement regular tests of the wrenches with no external cost. Any suspected issues with a tool can be identified immediately and corrective action taken if necessary. This tester has the potential to pay for itself many times over."
The Power Tool Test Fixture consists of a Joint Simulation 'Rundown' Assembly, ¾" and 1" sockets and the required base plate and fittings. The Joint Simulation 'Rundown' Assembly can be purchased separately for users wishing to design their own reaction fixtures.
The Power Tool Test Fixture is a much requested addition to Norbar's expanding product range and continues the long standing tradition of quality products from a company that has been providing torque tools and associated equipment and services for 67 years.
