- Areas can be left unprinted allowing customers to see the product they are purchasing.
- Generic container stocks can be kept to a minimum as the printed sleeve identifies the individual product. This saves space and allows a container to be purchased in larger quantities.
- Regardless of the shape of the container the sleeve fits its contours. The artwork can be distorted to compensate for any shrinking and maintain the visual impact of designs/logos.
- Sleeves can have dual purposes, firstly as decoration and secondly as a tamper evident device that can be removed when the customer wishes to use the product whilst leaving the body label intact. This is essential when wanting to leave the brand and other information including health / cautionary / nutritional visible on the container, after the tamper seal has been removed.
- Finished sleeves can incorporate Tear strips, Tear tabs and perforations.
- When the shape of the bottle is round a sleeve may “spin” therefore GPL also offers Heat-activated adhesive to minimise this effect.
- The reclaim of mislabelled products is simple as the sleeves are easily removed. This also applies for recycling of the container after use.
- The print is trapped behind the clear shrink film and is therefore scuff resistant and ideal for product which will be stored/used in a wet environment.
