The new CSVideo and CTVideo series are designed to measure the temperature (50-2200 Celsius) in difficult-to-reach areas, like places that are not visible or are too hot for traditional sensors. This video pyrometers have been recently introduced by Bestech Australia.
The CTVideo-sensors with external controller are available for spectral ranges of 1.0, 1.6 and 2.3µm.
CSVideo sensors manufactured by Micro Epsilon with integrated controller and two-wire output provide a spectral range of 1.6µm.
The scope of supply of the CSVideo M2 includes the application software CompactConnect enabling automatic recording of snapshots (time- or temperature-dependent), graphic display and recording the measurement values as well as parameter set up of the infrared thermometer.
The sensors from Bestech Australia are equipped with an USB 2.0 standard interface. The measure data are output via an analogue 4-20 mA or 0-5/10V interface. The connection to Ethernet can optionally be made by USB-server as accessory.
The temperature sensors are available in two lens versions: Standard focus (SF) and Close Focus (CF).
Response times from 1ms enable to integrate them fast and easily into the processes. The various lenses allow for stepless focusing from a measurement distance of 90mm. Smallest objects from 0.5mm can therefore be reliably measured.
Parallel use of video module and crosshair laser sighting for measuring field adjustment (measuring fields from 0.5mm)
Applicable in ambient temperatures up to 70 °C without any additional cooling
Measurements on hot metals, ceramics and composite materials
Automatic snapshot feature for process monitoring and corresponding documentation
