• Acceleration Types
  • S-curve: Trapezoidal acceleration applied resulting in an “s-curve” velocity profile
  • SCURVE = 0: a constant acceleration applied resulting in linear velocity profile
  • SCURVE between 0 and 99: a trapezoidal acceleration applied resulting in an “s-curve” velocity
  profile
  • SCURVE = 100: a triangular acceleration applied resulting in an “s-curve” velocity profile
• Acceleration Modes:
  • Time based: axis acceleration takes place over a specified time
  • Rate based: axis acceleration takes place at a specified rate
  • Distance based: axis acceleration takes place over a specified distance
