Choose from Open or Enclosed
The weight class of the trailer is very important, and includes the physical weight of the trailer. There are strict laws about the types of trailers used on our roads, and the towing vehicle, the trailer and the load must meet all legal and safety requirements.

Car trailers come in different sizes and designs, and can be either open or enclosed. Open car trailers are the cheaper option and are ideal for general vehicle transportation.

For specialist and high value vehicles, Trailers Direct recommends enclosed trailers, that deliver better protection from the elements and greater security. Enclosed car trailers can also be custom built to include storage and sleeping compartments.

Heavy Duty Design
All our Car Trailers are built heavy duty to stand up to the toughest of conditions. Each Trailer features heavy duty dual axles and braking systems, sealed wiring harness, and all come with a 2.5mm checker plate floor.

Our Beavertail Trailers, Tilt Trailers and Flatbed Trailers come with a extended draw bar for easy reversing, as well as slide away ramps.

Additional car trailer features can include mesh wheel tracks, tool boxes and tyre racks.
