Sensortechnics introduces the new CLD series of non-invasive ultrasonic fluid monitoring sensors. These devices enable continuous bottom-up liquid level detection based on ultrasonic time-of-flight measurement.
The CLD series features a unique pulsed ultrasonic technology to enable a very high degree of accuracy and reliability. This non-invasive design, with no contact between the sensor and the fluid, eliminates all media compatibility and sterility issues. The CLD series provides an analog output voltage proportional to the liquid level.
A separate logic output to report custom specific liquid level set points is also available. The CLD sensors can be used with plastic or metal containers and tanks and are completely scalable to various tank sizes and geometries.
The devices are mounted to the bottom of the tank without the need of a coupling agent. The CLD detectors can be widely customised to any form, fit and function to meet each customers' special requirements.
